The base level flavors, pungency of the roast, and low acidity are draws for those who fall for the Sumatra flavor profile. Sumatran coffees are famous for their peculiar flavor profile, low acidity, thick body, and rustic flavors that can often be described as earthy. Sumatran coffee has flavors people love or hate.
